Terms of Service

EdgeSlip is an analytical tool that helps users evaluate the structural quality of sports betting parlays. We use a rules-based engine combined with live market data to highlight correlation risks, redundant legs, public bias, and line movement. We also offer an optional AI-powered chat experience for conversational analysis.

EdgeSlip is not a sportsbook, bookmaker, or gambling operator. We do not accept, place, or facilitate wagers. We do not hold funds on behalf of users for wagering. We do not offer odds, lines, or betting markets of our own — all market data shown comes from third-party sportsbooks for informational purposes only.

All information, analysis, grades, warnings, insights, and suggestions provided by the Service are for informational and entertainment purposes only and are not gambling advice, financial advice, or a guarantee of any outcome.

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age (or the legal age for sports betting in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction
• Not be located in a jurisdiction where sports betting analysis tools are prohibited
• Not be on any self-exclusion list for gambling-related services

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with the laws of the jurisdiction where you live and where you place any bets.

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information during sign-up and to keep your account information current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

We use Clerk for authentication. By creating an account, you also agree to the applicable third-party terms for authentication providers.

The Service offers a free tier (the classic parlay grader) and a paid tier (EdgeSlip Chat), which uses a credit-based pricing model. Credit packs are one-time purchases processed by Stripe. You can review current pricing on the credits page.

Key terms of credit purchases:

• Chat messages consume credits on an additive basis: 1 credit per message, plus 1 additional credit when EdgeSlip performs a data operation (such as grading a parlay or pulling live odds), plus 1 additional credit when the message includes an uploaded image (such as a bet slip screenshot). Maximum charge per message is 3 credits regardless of how many data operations are chained
• Credits never expire under normal account standing
• Unused credits are non-refundable except in cases required by applicable law or at our sole discretion
• Credit prices and pack sizes are subject to change. Credits you already own are not affected by future price changes
• Failed payments, chargebacks, or disputes may result in credit reversal and account suspension

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card or bank account details. Please review Stripe's privacy and terms for how they handle your payment information.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws in your jurisdiction
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our infrastructure
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Service content or output to third parties without permission
• Use automated scripts, bots, or similar means to interact with the Service
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

The Service, including its code, design, text, graphics, logos, and analytical engine, is owned by JDX Software and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our express written permission.

You retain ownership of any parlay text, messages, or other content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The Service relies on third-party providers for certain functionality:

• Anthropic (Claude) — AI chat responses
• The Odds API — live sports odds data
• Stripe — payment processing
• Clerk — authentication
• Resend — support email delivery
• PostHog — product analytics

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of these third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details on data sharing.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that any parlay you place based on EdgeSlip output will win. Sports betting outcomes are inherently uncertain. Our analysis identifies structural issues and surfaces market data, but it cannot predict the future. Any decision to place a bet is yours alone, and you assume full responsibility for the outcome.

Market data (odds, lines, line movement) is sourced from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Always verify odds and availability directly with your sportsbook before placing a bet.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JDX Software and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any losses incurred from bets placed based on Service output
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your content or data
• Any other matter relating to the Service

Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 6 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate accounts that show signs of problematic usage patterns, for the protection of the user.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time through the account management area. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive activity, or for any other reason at our discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Any remaining credits at the time of termination for cause are forfeited and are not refundable.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in [YOUR COUNTY, YOUR STATE], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
